your questions about media.
» Replication vs. Duplication:
CD and DVD duplication is great for Low Volume
or if you need it yesterday. This is when Picture time takes
your data and duplicates it onto an existing CD-R or DVD-R disc. We can duplicate your
data onto generic high quality discs and either leave the discs blank or use ink jet
labels to print the discs for our clients.
This leads to quick lead times of a day or so.
CD and DVD replication is the process that
clones your original master. A glass master is created from your original master. Stompers
are used for the blueprint during the replication process. This process is necessary when
you are sending or selling large volumes of discs and want them to look identical to the
master. The machines used include many silkscreen printing presses to put your project's
film onto the discs.
